At Resilient Creatures Counseling, our vision is to provide transformative, trauma-informed, and LGBTQ+ affirming mental health care. We are dedicated to creating a safe, inclusive space where individuals can heal from past pain, explore their identities without judgment, and build resilience. We honor every client's unique journey with compassion, cultural humility, and clinical expertise.

Our Values

Integrity: We believe in doing the right thing, even when no one is watching. We practice an uncompromising adherence to our moral principles, ensuring our values, words, and actions are in alignment.

Community: We believe that there is no wellness without community. We owe it to one another to listen, honor everyone’s unique perspective, and show up for one another in the ways we can. Both our clinical practice and our workplace is deeply rooted in mutual respect and collaboration. We foster an anti-oppressive environment both in and outside of the therapy room.

Authenticity: We show up as our genuine selves and encourage our clients to do the same. We foster a safe, non-judgmental space where vulnerability is respected and where we honor the unique, lived experience of each individual.

Responsibility: We strictly adhere to professional ethical guidelines including ACA, NASW, and APA codes of ethics to prioritize client welfare, maintain confidentiality, and protect the trust within the therapist-client relationship. We support our clinicians’ continued education to ensure that we provide services in line with best practices and research-supported interventions

Equity: We are committed to transparency, fairness, and providing accessible care. We provide our clients and clinicians with the resources, accommodations, and support they need to reach their full potential.

Our Workplace Culture

We believe that our responsibility to one another extends beyond the therapy room. Our supervisors practice reflective supervision and honor the unique strengths and needs of each clinician. We engage in participative leadership, requesting the input and feedback from everyone on the team before making practice-wide decisions when ever possible.
